There are so many amazing places to take photos on the Amalfi Coast! Here are some spots to check out the next time you are there! Just as an FYI to all of you. You don’t need a super expensive camera to take some amazing photos! These were all taken with the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and edited in Lightroom!
1. The Steps of Cathedral of Saint Andrew the Apostle
This spot is located in the town of Amalfi. If you head to Piazza Duomo, which is the main piazza in Amalfi, you can’t miss this church up on the hill side. I recommend standing on the steps and taking a photo there.
2. The Town of Amalfi Pier
This is the best free way to get an amazing photo with views of Amalfi behind you! The walk is just a quick 5 minutes from Piazza Duomo. Be sure to do a few photos using portrait mode as well!
3. From the Top of the Ferry When Docked in Positano
Stay on the boat once docked in Positano for some classic views of Positano behind you!
4. Stand on the Sand at the Spiaggia Beach
The main beach that you see right in Positano is one of the most popular ones on the Amalfi Coast. If you can luck out with no crowds, stand here for some amazing photos with the town behind you!
5. Take Some Photos with the Blue Umbrellas Behind You
Head to the other side of the L’Incanto Restaurant where you will find a white beach walkway that leads to the water. Stand on that walkway and take some amazing shots with the blue umbrellas behind you.
6. Take a Walk to Fornillo Beach
As you start the walk to Fornillo Beach, you will find some spots with some views of Positano behind you.
7. Walk up the hill for some amazing views
Walk wayyyy up! If your legs are burning then you have gone high enough! There are more than enough places to choose a spot for photos. We were able to stop on both sides of Positano to get the view from each side!
I am sure if I had a few more days on the Amalfi Coast, there would be even more to add to this list, but being on the go constantly for 2 weeks doesn’t really allow that! Are there more places you recommend I check out next time I visit the Amalfi Coast? Leave them in the comments!
