I don’t know about you, but I am all about a fresh manicure. It is not uncommon for me to paint my nails at least once a week if not more. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is chipped nail polish. Before I go on a trip, I always like to plan what nail color and design I will have on my nails so that it matches the “vibe” of my getaway. Since I never go to a salon to get my nails done and rely on a great top coat to make my manicure look amazing, here are a few key items I use to keep my nails looking great:
- Nail File – Crystal Nail File (Buy a crystal nail file and never have to buy a file again! These things last forever!)
- Top Coat – Sally Hansen Top Coat Dries Instantly
- Top Coat – Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish
- Nail Polish Remover – Acetone Nail Polish Remover (this gets off even the toughest glitter polish)
- Nail Polish Remover Pads – On the go remover pads (these are great, and compact)
Here are my recommendations based on some destinations I have visited!
Las Vegas
New York
Canada
Caribbean
Hawaii
Alaska
Europe
Mexico
Seattle
If I am traveling longer than one week, I make sure to bring the color that my nails are painted as well as the top coat so that I can touch up on the go!
